Order your custom bike

The build of the next Drust starts with you taking the initiative to say "Hi." Tell me what you are looking for, what your dream bike needs to offer, and maybe which Drust caught your attention.

Let me know if you are looking only for a frame, a set of frame and fork, or a fully built-up bike.Even if it's often busy and hectic in the workshop, I try to get back to you with a quotation within the next few days.

Deposit

After reviewing our offer, it’s time to place your deposit and secure the next free slot in the build queue.

Once the deposit is placed, I can start designing your bicycle.

Please note that the deposit is not fully refundable. If you need to step away from your order, I don't want to let you down, but I also need to ensure that my work is compensated. In this case, I will invoice you for the time spent on our project based on my hourly fee and refund the difference from the deposit.

Design

The design process starts with a bike fit. You can
either come to my workshop, and we do the bike fit together, or you can go to a bike fitter you trust and pass over the needed measurements.

Please be sure that the riding position during your fit is what you want and feel comfortable with. I will step in if I feel your riding position is far from what's considered good, and I won't build a frame that I believe will not fit my client in the end.

However, I still need open and clear communication from your side to finalize the geometry. Based on the bike fit, I will provide a 2D CAD drawing of the frame geometry, which you need to sign off on.

Construction

You’ve waited a bit, but the moment has arrived. Finally, your project is next in the build queue. Building your Drust is a two to three-week process of cutting, bending, and fitting tubes in the frame jig, tacking, and brazing. We’ll keep you updated regularly on the progress of your dream bike.

Assembly and Delivery

If you ordered a complete bike, the final step is to assemble the components and turn the frameset into a bicycle. I meticulously assemble every Drust myself and put the utmost care into it.

When the assembly is done, you can pick up your new bike, or I can ship it safely packed to its final destination.
